English version:

The passion for live music has no boundaries. This statement, which could be considered trivial by most, actually brings within itself a kaleidoscope of sensations, sounds, colors, sounds and emotions that you can hardly describe in words. Relics after having already crossed the borders of the eternal city for a queit long time, now crosses even those of the Italian boot, to arrive directly in the other side of the world, in the Peoples Republic of China and precisely in the modern Shanghai. Among the deterioration typical of subway stations and the modern and great Yan’an Road stands the YuYinTang (育 音 堂), historical club for the city on the sea, which offers almost every night quality live music events and interesting jam sessions. Tonight the Relics’ choice has fallen on a group that has already fill a lot its curriculum, being in business since way back in 2000. We are talking about the Swedes The Mary Onettes , opened tonight by  The Chinese Running Blue .
They are the last to take the stage, after about half an hour of New Order sound in heavy rotation, that has helped in warming up the crowd. The female Shanghainese trio woman sees a frontman (vocals and guitar) and two other members respectively to the effects and drums. The atmosphere is immediately intense thanks to electronics and persuasive voice of the singer, bringing us right away on the wave of memories of bands like Radiohead and Massive Attack and Tricky individual, or as an ancestral Sinéad O’Connor. The casing and electronic strongly with effects is completed by a vocal texture to the limit of the spiritual, particularly stressed in trace amounts as Cancer (which bails out a very thight and restless post rock ending) and  No twice. The Blue Running end their exhibition showing themselves as a delightful, elegant and unexpected surprise.
From China to Sweden, the distance is short, just enough time for a change stage. The Mary Onettes arrive in Shanghai as part of their China tour and after the release of their latest album Hit the Waves (March, 2013). Just the title track opens the concert: synth heinous open to this beautiful track that makes us a little taste from the beginning of the verve that the band is goign to demonstrate within all the sixty minutes of their performance. It continues with Explotions (also used in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy) , intimate and reflective track that, accompanied by a low- wise, opens the single most famous excerpt from the album : Evil Coast. The audience strongly approves the choice and Henrik Ekstrom embraces chopsticks beginning to beat the big drum in front of him . Evil Coast is a short trip and understood through the melancholy of a stormy relationship that shows all the tack taken by the quintet of Jönköping in this album, that is specifically the adoption of a more indie -pop canon, both musically and visually, compared to previous productions. Coming right after once again in the old songs, among them Void, in which the band on stage shows that you have not forgotten their shoegaze vein, so divided between the echoes of The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen and The Stone Roses , the synth -wave of the eighties and the more current Beach Fossils and Smith Westerns .
Ultimately, a high-quality live, in spite of the limited amount of time, which confirms –  not so frequently happening in Italy-  once again the exact equation between quality and audience response, as even more important if one considers that the public come to YuYinTang was three-fourths of China.
