NERATERRÆ – Scenes From The Sublime (Cyclic Law, 2020) di Giuseppe Grieco

Eccoci appena un anno dopo a ritornare su Antoni e sul suo progetto NERATERRÆ. La sua nuova opera si chiama Scenes From The Sublime e si prefigge di essere un inno alla bellezza e all’arte pittorica. Precisamente, sono presi come fonte di ispirazione dieci quadri, a cui sono legate altrettante tracce, in esse Alessio esprime il suo estro artistico e la sua personale visione della musica dark ambient.

Anche stavolta Antoni si avvale della collaborazione di illustre personalità del suo genere musicale oscuro: Alphaxone, Dødsmaskin, George Zafiriadis proveniente da Martyria, Leila Abdul-Rauf, Mount Shrine, Phelios, Phragments, Shrine, Yann Hagimont proveniente dai Cober Ord e Xerxes The Dar.

Tutti i pezzi riconfermano la capacità di NERATERRÆ nel sapersi distinguere nell’abito di un genere che purtroppo spesso finisce per essere fine a sé stesso. Parlare dei brani singolarmente sarebbe procedura errata, il consiglio è di ascoltarli e viverli ammirando contemporaneamente il quadro a cui sono legati, in tal modo si potrà davvero gustare appieno il secondo riuscito disco di NERATERRÆ.
